Depart from your home town to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin International Airport, you will be greeted by our local representatives. And transferred straight to Munnar – this beautiful and scenic hill station also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’. Arrive Munnar. Check in to the hotel ( international check in time at the hotel is 1400h). Rest of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy the stunning beauty of Munnar. Overnight stay in the hotel/resort.
Breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for a tour of this quaint little hill station visiting scenic landmarks like Echo Point, Gundala Lake, Elephant Arrival Point, Cinema Shooting Point, Jungle Honey Bee Nest, and several other places. Mattuppetty, Tata Tea Museum, Eravikulam National Park, Blossom Hydel Park, spice plantation, and Anaimudi Peak can also be visited during the day. Return back to the hotel by early evening. Arrive at Thekkady and check in to the hotel. Later after chek in, one can visit the Spice plantation followed by a boat ride on the Periyar Lake and enjoy the wilderness of the Periyar National Park. Late evening return back ot the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel/resort.
After breakfast check out of the hotel, and proceed to Alleppey - the backwater capital of Kerala. Arrive Alleppey and check in into your houseboat. Alleppey is also termed as the ‘Venice of the East’, and is known for its mesmerizing beauty and charm. Sail across the backwaters in your own “Kettuvallam’ - the traditional name of the Kerala houseboat and one of the most scenic ways of exploring the backwaters of Kerala. Overnight stay will be at the houseboat.
Breakfast at the hotel. Post breakfast proceed towards Kanyakumari or the ‘Land’s End Point’; en route, you can visit the stunning Padmanabhapuram Palace. Built by the Maharaja of Travancore in the 15th century, this wooden palace is an architectural marvel of its own. Continue your visit to the holy Sucheendram Temple, and then continue your journey to Kanyakumari; - the place where three mighty waters meet – the water of the Indian Ocean, The Arabian Sea, and the Bay of Bengal.
On arrival you can take a boat ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial; the place where Swami Vivekananda used to meditate. Later in the evening driver back to Kovalam . overnight at the hotel.
